Material
We offer wood gazebo kits in Western Red Cedar, Pressure Treated Pine, and treated pine wrapped in PVC vinyl.
Ready-to-assemble
All our wood gazebos are shipped to you as ready-to-assemble kits with instructions. We cut all components to size by hand here in the United States by skilled craftsman.
Any size
We make our gazebos in any size. And when we say “any size” we do mean any size you can imagine. So don’t be shy asking us to fabricate a kit that meets your exact needs.
Forty-five year track record
Our Pennsylvania shop has been fabricating these gazebos continuously since 1980. Thousands of these gazebos have been in the field for decades all around the USA, standing up to the best Mother Nature can throw at them. We offer a 15 year warranty to back them.
What makes a wood gazebo different from other shade structures?
A wood gazebo is a shade structure whose defining characteristics are the following:
Hip-roof: All wood gazebos feature a hip-roof.
Post spacing: All gazebo posts are spaced 4-5 ft apart regardless of the size of the gazebo.
- This is driven partially by the popular use of screen panels or windows on the sides of the gazebo.
- Moreover, gazebos do not feature headers found in pergolas and pavilions. For this reason the span between posts must be limited to 4-5ft. Large gazebos are the exception and often feature headers.
Railings, screens, and floors
Railings, screens, and floors (wood decks) are the norm with gazebos. About 80% of our gazebo orders incorporate all three of these options.
- Railings: The railings run around the circumference of the structure and usually feature spindles.
- Screens: if you want protection from mosquitos, a screened wood gazebo is a great idea. We screen all sides of the structure, including the door and floor.
- Floors: Depending on the size of your structure and location, your floor/deck may provide sufficient weight to anchor the structure against high winds.
Shapes
Octagon, rectangular, or oval in shape. The most popular shape with our customers is the octagon. In a close second please is rectangles. A few people order oval shaped structures.
Other options
Benches and vented roofs are perhaps the most popular options not mentioned above.
