This gorgeous design is created by marrying our Grand Cedar with an additional Gable on a third side.
Third Gable: Feel free to choose any size width of the third gable. The pitch of the third gable can match the 7:12 standard pitch existing gables or be steeper or shallower.
How measured and quoted: Our 12x16 size, for example, has post center dimensions of 11x15, and a roof span of 14'-4" x 17'-8". These ratios hold for all other sizes unless you request customization.
Overhangs: As you look at the gable, the roof overhangs 16" past the post edge. As you look at the eave, the roof overhangs 12" past the post edge.
Number of posts: Our rough-cedar timbers can typically span 20ft between posts. Longer spans require a middle post somewhere along the span, or engineered headers.
