Red Cedar Arched Roof Pavilion

Our customers and staff refer to our Red Cedar Arched Pavilion as our "Wave" Pavilion because it features distinctive curved rafters. Not only is this design beautiful, it is a feat of engineering. 

How we measure and quote this model:  Please call us for a quote. We quote and fabricate this model in any size. Price varies with size. The nominal size is measured by outside face of posts, with the roof extending beyond the posts one foot on all sides. For example, if you order a 12x14 size, the outside face of posts will measure 12' x 14', the roof span will measure 14' x 16'. 

Number of columns: Roof spans of up to 18' can be supported with two posts. Spans longer than that require a third post somewhere along the middle, unless you upgrade to heavier timbers.

Base package includes:

• All Western Red Cedar construction, kiln-dried and smooth sanded.
• Made in any size, custom fit to your required dimensions
• Shipped to you in ready-to-assemble kit form
• Sturdy 8x8 posts 9 ft high (10x10 posts are also an option)
• Heavy duty post brackets securely anchor your structure to your foundation
• Decorative post base moldings hide post brackets from view
• Corner braces (2) 2x8 provide stability and prevent racking (lateral movement)
  
• 6x12 headers
• Arched "Wave" red cedar glulam rafters with Napa Tail Design
  
• Topped with 4x4's, 2x4's, and roof decking (see below)
  
• 1x6 tongue and groove red cedar roof decking provides a rich looking ceiling
• 30 year architectural shingles - choice of nine colors below - Ice and Water Shield underlayment included
• All hardware galvanized or stainless per your choice
• A set of shop drawings to review. Subject to any comments you have, and only after your approval of these drawings, do we begin fabrication.
