Octagon Red Cedar Gazebo Kit

How we measure and quote this model: We quote nominal sizes above. Your post center span will be the same as your nominal size. Floor spans are 5-9” larger than the nominal size, and roof spans are 11" - 15" larger than nominal size.

For example: if you order a size 16ft octagon gazebo, your post centers will span 16’, your floor will span 16’-9”, and your roof span will measure 17’-3”.   

Custom sizing in ready-to-assemble kit form: We fabricate your kit separately to your specs and ship it to you as a ready-to-assemble kit with instructions.

How anchored: More than half our customers purchase their kit with a floor (deck) and anchor the gazebo posts to the deck. Often this is sufficient anchoring. But depending on your structure size and locale, you may need to use our 'earth anchors' or anchor your posts directly to concrete footings or a concrete slab.

Shipping: We ship direct-to-you nationwide and offload your crate/skid to your driveway.

Wind resistance: up to 195mph if engineered. Ask us about our engineering services.

Our base package includes:

• Durable 100% Western Red Cedar, Appearance Grade, kiln dried and smooth-sanded
• Ready-to-assemble kit, pre-cut and pre-drilled
• We use nominal 4x4 posts for octagons up to 16ft diameter, and 6x6 posts for larger octagons.
• Post spacing is 4ft to 5ft on center depending on the size
• Bottom railing around perimeter
• Corner braces provide stability and visual appeal
• Top railing around perimeter
• Straight cornice (scalloped cornice also available)
• 2x8 top plates, 2x4 rafters, and double 2x4 ridge rafters
• 1x6 tongue and groove roof decking
• 30-year architectural asphalt shingles (choice of 9 colors) with underlayment
• 6:12 roof pitch
• Cupola
• All necessary hardware. Galvanized (option available for stainless steel).
