Summary:
So far I have really enjoyed the new pavilion over my hot tub. It has totally transformed the space as I used to have a quick shade pop up tent over it. The wood is great quality and having it pre stained made it really easy.

One thing about it that wasn't great was that the instructions were hard to read at times. For example it was difficult to understand where the notch is supposed to be on the posts so when we went to put on the header it didn't fit.

Once we switched the posts we got it up. We also didn't find the 2x4 frame until after we had laid the concrete footers.

Using that right off the bat would have helped measuring around the hot as it was difficult to get a diagonal measurement with it in the way. That was more user error, though.

The last thing that was annoying was the foam ridge that helps seal the roof was stuck to the wrong side of the paper so it didn't peel off at all.

Luckily one of them was ok and we used that for the top side of the roof and managed to get the other one off for the bottom. You really can't tell once it is finished at all, just being fully transparent.

Getting it up is definitely a two man job so make sure you have a buddy helping you. The finished product is super sturdy and looks great. We hung some string lights underneath and it lights up the under roof wood nicely.

Opens the whole thing up and feels like a hotel spa. Overall I would highly recommend this product. Great value for the overall quality. My neighbors are incredibly jealous.

It's so pleasant I tease my wife that I'll build a desk in it so I can wfh (work from hot tub).
