We love our pergola. We added a fan and are able to spend more time outside now - the fan helps control insects and adds a light breeze and the roof keeps rain and direct sun out. It has an arched roof that opens up the pergola to the sky.

We have received many compliments. Many love the redwood (it is a redwood structure) ceiling. Truly lovely.

We had a local construction company install the kit and add roofing material over the wooden ceiling to make it water tight. it went up quickly with little to no alterations.
