Summary:
Overall we were pleased with the materials, structurual and engineering quality of the kit. The 2x4 top stringers have experienced some splitting along the grain beginning at the notch point.
Summary:
This occurred following installation and subsequent curing of the wood. A screw has or will be installed to snug up the 2x4 and prevent further run of the split.
