In September 2018 I ordered a 12 X 16 pergola kit after having looked at kit installation in the area that Mr. Berg had set up after I had inquired if I could see one of his company's pergola in the Minneapolis area.

The kit arrived in October 2018 by truck. You should have at least 1 or 2 people to help you unload the multiple pieces from the truck and verify all the pieces are there. Everything arrived safely.

Tip: Make sure your footings are in place and level. I had the landscape architect redoing my backyard put in the footings with a laser level.

A friend and I put up the pergola in two half days and than I put on the lattice top by myself in a single day. Everything went smoothly and the pergola was level and square.

As you can tell from the attached photos I stained all the parts to match the trim paint on the house. This staining took me over a week to complete. The installation instructions for the kit were spot on.
