Two Mounting Options:
- Top Mount: 2x6 rafters mounted on top of the 2x8 ledger board. You will need 11 1/4" of wall space. The bottom of the ledger board is 7 inches less than the post top.
- Flush Mount: 2x6 rafters mounted flush into the face of the 2x8 ledger board. You will need only 7” of wall space. If you are interested in this option, please call us.
Base package includes:
- Ready to assemble kit, pre-cut, pre-drilled saves you time time
- Appearance Grade Western Red Cedar sourced from the USA.
- Kiln-dried, ready for staining. Finished smooth to the touch
- Double 2" x 8" headers w/ decorative tails
- Headers are notched 1 1/4" to accept rafters for stability and visual appeal
- Ledger board to mount to your home. Rafters can be flush-mounted or top-mounted at your preference
- Stability and support provided by half moon corner braces
- 2" x 6" rafters w/ decorative tails spaced 16" on center
- 2" x 2" top runners spaced 16" on center
- Nominal 6x6 posts (5"x5" actual), notched to accept the headers for stability and visual appeal
- Post base trim hides steel mounting brackets
- Powder-coated steel mounting brackets with stainless steel wedge anchors
- A set of shop drawings with all dimensions and specs. Approve them or have us customize them.
